Welcome to the Center for the Humanities website. Please visit throughout our website and get a sense of who we are and what we do.
As part of the Center for the Humanities mission, we provide a rigorous, interdisciplinary learning experience while also providing a sharing, supportive environment where students are encouraged to think creatively. Our approach is different from the usual high school experience with our integrated curriculum and a student-centered approach.
While we study ancient through contemporary cultures, we maintain our connections to the community with an emphasis on service learning. Humanities students are thus involved in their studies, their school, and the metro-Richmond community—making a difference wherever they work and travel.
